Healthy Cereal Bar Recipe (Makes 24 bars)
What You Need:
- 2 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1 cup whole grain whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein (mixed with a bit of water) – try Gaspari Nutrition Myofusion Delicious Vanilla
- 4 oz unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup unpasteurized natural honey
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp flaxseed
- 3/4 cup shredded coconut
- 2 oz chopped pecans
- 2 oz slivered almonds
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly coat a 9×13″ pan with vegetable oil or light butter.
